Harp & Harp secured planning consent in summer 2024 for eight new homes on a backland site in Morden, seconds from Morden tube station. The scheme comprises a block of four apartments and a terrace of four courtyard mews houses, reached from a new landscaped pedestrian space.
The site is heavily constrained and overlooked from every side. The design answers those constraints with a creative, unconventional approach that respects its neighbours while delivering joyful, high-quality homes: roof gardens, vaulted interiors and high sustainability standards throughout. The ambition is an exemplar for how to develop challenging infill sites in London’s outer boroughs.
